FAQs
What’s better: a zipped rash vest or unzipped?
We give you the choice! Feedback tends to suggest that zips are great for younger children who often have proportionately larger heads, so you can get the rash vests on and off easily, but some children don’t like the fuss of a zip. It’s very much a personal preference. If you do go for a zip, these are designed for the zip to be at the back, not the front.
How does the quality of recycled fabric compare to virgin polyamide fabric?
We use ECONYL yarn in our signature fabric for our swimwear. ECONYL is the industry leader for quality regenerated polyamide. When the ECONYL is created from post-consumer waste including ghost fishing nets, the regeneration process takes it back to a molecular level so the regenerated polyamide that is created is the same as virgin polyamide. There is no compromise on quality. Plus, our swimwear is all stitched to last and washes well so you can expect lots and lots of use out of them.
Are these for boys or girls?
We think our rash vests look great on both boys and girls. We selected our colours deliberately to appeal to all children, and this has the extra benefit that you can pass swimwear between siblings. If there isn’t a photo of a gender in our rash vests, don’t assume that it isn’t “meant” for that gender.
