Board shorts made from recycled plastic bottles and designed for the circular economy as well as for comfort. Super soft, durable and quick drying. 100% recycled fabric, including the mesh lining. Sewn eyelets for ease of re-recycling. 3 pockets, an elasticated waist and draw string for ultimate adjustability.

Materials & Care

Made from 100% polyamide. Do not iron. Do not tumble dry. Air dry.�Every few washes, collect the fibres that have become caught up in the hems of the bag and put them in a bin. Do not rinse them down the sink! When using the GuppyFriend bag, do not fill more than half full.�

FAQs

What are these made from?

The fabric for our board shorts is 100% recycled polyester, from post-consumer waste, such as plastic bottles, including ocean plastics. The fabric is a sturdy (almost indestructible) weight and weave so you will get years and years of use out of them. Stitched to last and pass between siblings and friends. When you have finally finished with them, send them back to us for re-recycling.

Do they have pockets?

These shorts have two side pockets plus a back pocket. No metal in these shorts. The eyelet in the back pocket is stitched to allow water out, but also for ease of re-recycling. 

Is the sizing true?

The sizing for these board shorts is generous, relaxed fit. Unlike for our rash vests, if you are in doubt about sizing for board shorts, please size down. The waist is fully elasticated plus has a drawstring for ease of adjustment.
